SBS BK3000 Twin Axle Boat Trailer with bow snubber & winch For bilge keel boat

  
The trailer is made by SBS Trailers of Wolverhampton, and if you know your stuff, you'll know that SBS make a damn good, sturdy and well constructed trailer. Requires a new rubber cover over coupling shaft. Hitch lock has been removed. Even though it's galvanised, there's a few minor rust patches here and there. Keel supports have purple paint splashed on them yes, the previous owner either painted his boat or something else purple - definitely NOT me!! I had additional strapping points welded onto the trailer (I thought that the standard fitted small'eyes' were not enough). Hand winch fitted on top of Bow snubber support. Tyres are good on it - I brought it from Wales, and it towed (unladen) very well.

Please note: The photographs show a lighting board on the trailer - this is NOT included in the sale and therefore, if collecting, you will need to bring your own lighting board with either a long cable or an extension cable that will go the length of the trailer. Length capacity: 6.2 metres. In answer to questions that I have been asked - unfortunately, I have no idea about the year of manufacture, all I can say is that it is obviously a few years old, but it has not been used, abused and bashed about, and still looks good. I have taken the measurements (as follows), and obviously these are approximate. Length of trailer body (excluding rear overhang and A-bar): 2.44 metres.

Width of trailer body (excluding wheels and mudguards): 1.55 metres. Length of rear overhang: 1.3 metres - extendable lighting board frame pulls out a further 1 metre. Length of A-bar and hitch coupling: 3.4 metres.

Bilge keel base supports are 0.2 metres wide x 2.3 metres long, and are adjustable for width on the trailer frame. They are currently set at the widest adjustment, up to the very edge of the trailer, but can be reduced in width by adjusting on trailer frame.
